Grade 6 Art Students just finished an interesting assignment based on an ancient design known as Mandalas. Mandalas are considered to be a spiritual and ritual symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism , representing the universe. Each student was was able to choose their own subject matter and colour scheme as long as they followed the circular form, and included pattern and repetition.
