Grade 5 Art - Pop Art The grade 5 classes have been working on a new pop art lesson based on the art of Romero Britto.   Romero Britto is a Brazilian-American Neo-pop artist, painter, serigrapher, and sculptor. He combines elements of cubism, pop art and graffiti painting in his work Student Art                          

Grade 6 Art Both grade 6 classes have been busy applying their skills to a variety of art projects. Last class they finished an inquiry project on "Identity" which is their conceptual focus for the year. They worked in groups and presented a biography in powerpoint on their given artist, then they made art works in response to their research. Check out some of the examples below!
