Grade 5 Art - Pop Art

 The grade 5 classes have been working on a new pop art lesson based on the art of Romero Britto. Romero Britto is a Brazilian-American Neo-pop artist, painter, serigrapher, and sculptor. He combines elements of cubism, pop art and graffiti painting in his work

Slavery - Grade 9 Taking Action

SLAVERY  Activity - introduction In this unit students will view a variety of artwork that deal with the issue of slavery. They will then use this knowledge to create a piece of art that expresses a form of slavery found around the world. This is a selection of pinch pots and 3d heads. They are currently working on perspective and will be moving on to atmospheric watercolour landscapes.
